1.2…….Affiliate Advertising

No affiliate advertising will be counter to that clause and our mission. To abide by WordPress’s policy the majority of our articles are not sponsored.

2………….Submitting an Article

See the “Publishing and Article” page for the exact process to publish an article on Other Health.

2.1…….Article Approval and Rejection factors

After the article idea(claim) has been sent to Other Health, we will approve it or reject it based on due diligence on our side to its claims. We are not medical professions, just advocates for medical progress. For a claim to be approved it must be truthful, have medical relevance, and the writer must demonstrate credibility and knowledge to the subject. We try to keep our articles easy to interpret and relatable, but mostly jargon free.

Reasons claims may be rejected are determined if the messages have not demonstrated the terms above. Even after articles are submitted after claims have been approved, they may still be rejected if they have not lived up to their expectations. However, these articles can be corrected and resubmitted.

2.2…….Other Health’s vetting

As stated before, we are not medical professionals, only just advocates for medical progress. Our vetting will contain research on our side to support relative accuracy and a following to your claims. This will assure the quality of Other Health’s articles remains truthful.

2.3…….Posting Obligations

Submitting a post does not leave the author to any obligations. Authors can write as many articles they’d like, as long as the claims are approved; authors may write as little as one or an unlimited amount. In published articles, authors can also choose to turn off the ability for readers to comment and to hide their name and remain anonymous.

3.0………….Ownership

As a platform for medical and health related story sharing content on Other Health is owned by both Other Health as well as article authors. In section 3.1 & 3.2 there are more details on content ownership per user type.

3.1…….Other Health’s Ownership

Other Health has control over the platform, this means that Other Health has the authority to shut down the website, deny certain articles, and collect advertising revenue.

3.2…….Authors Ownership

Article authors on Other Health have ownership on their articles and the content within it. Authors are allowed to contact Other Health at any time requested for the article to be pulled down, their name to be removed or added, or comments to be disabled. Authors are using Other Health’s platform infrastructure and the community that has been attracted. As of now, authors will receive no payment for their contributions to Other Health.

A common thought of authors is why not write at a place that pays contributors? Please note, that part of what “free” entitles you to is a freedom from “having to work.” No daily hours, no deadlines, no late nights, no weekends. You just do what you like when the spirit moves you.
